The Ordnance Plow gun

In the June 17 of 1862 at the midst of the American civil war inventors W.H. Fancher and C.M. French of Waterloo patented the "New and Improved Ordnance Plow" a Plow for plowing fields with a small cannon attached to it, why? Well according to the inventors it would help farmers and workers farmland near border locations where fighting could be expected and easily respond to an attacking force with force thanks to their multi use farming tool/cannon.

the gun was never manufactured and only a patent exists.
