Armalite AR14 Autoloading sporter rifle

The ar14 rifle Designed by the Armalite firearms company to be an civilian sporting/hunting rifle but it never left the planning stage so its development was never finished and such it was never produced. The rifle was in a state of such early planning that many quirks of firearms design were never figured out so if the rifle would have been made it would not had properly functioned, for example there is no space for the charging handle to go when the rifle is cycled.

There is barely any info out there about the rifle so this 3d model is based on original drawing by Armalite and the knowledge that it could be chambered in the .308 win and constructed from early forms of plastics and then new aluminum.
