A silly idea for a type of improvised hammer-fired rocket launcher dubbed K1 (K as in krokiet/krokiety the type of polish dish)
The concept behind the Launcher was for it to be reusable, simple in design and manufacture as it is constructed from scrap metal and only a little bit of welding on the flat mounting rib that is welded on the launcher tube to which the rest of the launchers parts are bolted onto.
The way the launcher works is that before firing you disengage its only safety (which works as the front sight too) by flipping it up, this allows the trigger lever to be pressed down which will move the trigger bar till the sear that is apart of the trigger bar disengages from a notch located on the hammer keeping it down to allow it to move and hit primer on the rockets base plug, this will cause the primer to ignite the rockets ignition charge located in the base plug igniting and therefor firing the rocket. The act of firing also arms the inertia-armed fuze of the warhead so it may detonate whenever de-accelerating when hitting an object. To simplify the design the rocket body and warhead are separate so that the type of warhead for a particular use can be chosen when desired and simply be mounted on the cup-shaped front of the rocket where it should be able to stay rather firmly with friction alone if this is not enough so some tape could be used to secure the warhead better. The rocket is of a finless design with revolver cylinder-like grooves instead of more normal fins which should theoretically provide similar in-flight stability as the more normal fin design.
The tiny cuts on the trigger housing are there so that a sling could be attached through them.
To reload the fired rocket launcher you simply re cock its hammer (this may not need to be done as the black blast from firing could theoretically re cock the hammer for you) then you simply insert a new rocket (with an already attached warhead or no) from the front till the securing latch grips around the front rim of the rocket keeping it securely in the launcher, now it may be fired again.
Have had this idea for an improvised rocket launcher for some time now but then the Russian invasion of Ukraine happened which then reignited my interest in this concept for a simple and cost-effective all-around rocket launcher that could be produced in wartime material and manpower struggles like what Ukraine is facing now.
